Siemens Energy has a substantial role available for a Sales Manager within the Grid Technologies area. You will primarily be charged with growing our market standing through the delivery of products for transmission and distribution grids, as well as industrial plants connected to the high-voltage grid.
Your focus will be on our industry-leading, eco-friendly switchgear products crafted to meet customer expectations. You will join a vibrant organization, handling a product and solution portfolio with immense technical and sales potential.
How You’ll Make an Impact
As a Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in our customers' transition to a sustainable and green energy system. You will be tasked with establishing and nurturing relationships with key parties within the electricity transmission and distribution industry, as well as emerging industries such as power-to-x, datacenters, etc. Your responsibilities will include:
- Identifying customer needs and potential growth areas within your business segment, as well as growing the customer portfolio.
- Planning and implementing sales activities, including presentations, demonstrations, reference visits, and customer days.
- Leading tendering processes, responding to tenders, and contract negotiations.
- Follow up on deliveries from our factories
- Networking within the industry and attending relevant local and international conferences and trade fairs.
- Providing valuable input to the sales department's overall strategy and business plans.
- The role includes frequent travel within Sweden, visits to our factories in Europe, and occasionally Americas/Asia, totaling about 10-20 international travel days per year.
What You Bring
- Several years of sales experience, driven by understanding customer needs and accustomed to offering professional customer support.
- An educational background in electrical engineering, complemented by extensive engineering experience.
- Engaged, persistent, and capable of cross-functional collaboration.
- Motivated by goal achievement, dedicated, and possess strong communication skills.
- Experience with digitization and the implementation of new methods that contribute to the sales process.
- Comfortable in an international environment and proficient in Danish (or Norwegian or Swedish) and English, both written and spoken.

You will be a part of our Nordic Sales team within Grid Technologies, which serves our customers with products, solutions and services to enable our customers energy transition. We offer technical and commercial support at Siemens Energy, organized at both Nordic and European levels.
